Google email service, Gmail, has been updated, now supports drag and drop attachments. The new role is a complementary role in HTML5, and is available to those who use both Google Chrome browser, Firefox 3.6 or 4.

In order to perform its functions, just select the desired files and drag and drop from the desktop to Gmail compose window. Therefore, the region above the e-mail changed to “drag and drop files here”, which is completed, will lead automatically download files to Gmail.

Drag and drop is a network user requirements and develop regular features, Google also between the fuzzy lines of desktop computers and networks. Although the feature is limited to users and chromium Firefox 3.6 4, there are plans to expand services to include other popular browsers support HTML5 standard.
